Meet the Doctors

Douglas M. Triplett D.D.S.,P.C.

Dr. Douglas M. Triplett grew up in Liberty and graduated from Liberty High School. He received a Bachelor of Arts in biology from The University of Missouri-Columbia and graduated from University of Missouri-Kansas City School Of Dentistry in 1989. He has spent all 24 years of his professional career in the same practice, becoming the sole owner in 2006. Dr. Triplett has enjoyed providing dental care for old friends (even several former teachers) and the many new patients he has met along the way. Dr. Triplett and his wife, Joni, have six children and enjoy traveling, sporting events and many outdoor activities. Dr. Triplett is a member of American Dental Association, Missouri Dental Association, Greater Kansas City Society and University Study Club.


Eric S. Livingston D.D.S.

Dr. Eric Livingston has been a member of our team since July 2010. Dr Livingston grew up in St. Louis, MO. He received a B.S. from Brigham Young University before attending dental school at UMKC. Dr. Livingston is fluent in Spanish and during dental school traveled to Honduras as part of a team to provide much needed dental care. After graduation, Dr. Livingston fulfilled a certificate of residency in UMKC’s Advanced Education in General Dentistry department, where he received advanced training in restorative dentistry, prosthodontics and implant dentistry. Dr. Livingston is great with people and enjoys the relationships he makes with all of our patients. He now lives in the northland with his wife and 4 children. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Missouri Dental Association, Greater Kansas City Dental Society and the Academy of General Dentistry.


Kaleigh Nechvatal D.D.S.

Dr. Kaleigh attended the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry where she received her Doctor of Dental Surgery. Prior to attending dental school, she received her Bachelors in Chemistry from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. She is an active member in the Academy of Facial Esthetics, American Dental Association, Missouri Dental Association, and Academy of General Dentistry. Kaleigh has lived most of her life in the Kansas City Northland. Ever since Dr. Kaleigh was a young girl, she has always dreamt of being a dentist and working with people to give them the confident smile they deserve. Growing up in this practice as a patient herself, Dr. Joe and Dr. Triplett created the most welcoming and fun environment. This is what sparked her interested in the field. She is being excited to have the opportunity to serve the community in which she grew up in. 


Dr. Kaleigh enjoys all aspects of dentistry. She enjoys visiting with patients during routine checks and taking on complex cases. She takes delight in recreating natural, healthy smiles with her hands and creativity. Dr. Kaleigh’s goal is to build the most welcoming, calm, and friendly environment for her patients, staff, and community. She is passionate about staying up to date with the latest technology and techniques to provide the best care possible for patients. 


Outside her passion for dentistry, Dr. Kaleigh enjoys spending quality time with her growing family. Dr. Kaleigh’s favorite memories are the ones she creates with her husband (Peter), daughter (Fiona), son (Porter), and adopted pets (Badger, Brewer, and Leo). She also takes great interest in traveling, fitness, fashion, animals, and trying all the new local food spots. 


Joseph E. Evans D.D.S.,P.C.

Joseph E. Evans, DDS has been a lifelong resident of Liberty, graduating Liberty High School in 1968. After high school, he served in the Kansas National Guard from 1970 to 1976. He then attended William Jewel College, receiving a B.S. degree in biology in 1976. Dr. Joe then attended the University of Missouri School of Dentistry and graduated in 1980. Upon graduating, he purchased the practice that he had been a patient of since 1954.

Dr. Evans served as the dentist for the K.C. Chiefs from 1981 to 1990, the K.C. Blades Hockey team from 1991 to 1999, and the K.C. Explorers professional tennis team from 2003 to 2012.

Dr. Evans received the Liberty High School Foundation Distinguished Alumni Service of the Year award in 2006, as well as the Liberty High School Distinguished Volunteer Award in 2008. He was honored with the Northland Distinguished School Volunteer of the Year award in 2009 for 15 years of service.


Dr. Evans Retired in 2020.
